Kids and adults, men and women, novices and experienced dancers and drummers all enjoy the sense of joy in community that is a hallmark of Yamama! workshops. We keep it positive and inclusive, so that everyone feels safe and ready to play.

Community Drum Circles
Long before drumming was about performance, it was an all-community celebration. Drum circles led by our own Stormi Oshun (also of Many Hands Light Work) are a playful, exuberant way to experience the ancient tradition of creating rhythms in a collective. Participants are welcome to bring their own instruments, while Stormi provides a delightful array of drums and other percussion instruments so no one is left out. The emphasis of our drum circles is on celebrating each member's belonging in the circle, and creating one-of-a-kind musical expressions in communion with others.
